It is odd that the design of the Admski flying saucers are remarkably
similar to the Nazi Vril craft, even down to the ball like constructions on
the bottom. And there is that episode where a UFO appeared over a city in
the US in the War and was shelled (can't remember the name of story now).
Again the design of the craft which can vaguely be seen in the news
photographs is very similar to the Nazi Vril craft.

That doesn't necessarily prove anything of course, because one gets memes in
society people share similar fantasies through popular culture, so the fact
that the same designs crop up in different places can just be a result of
those memes. But OTOH memes can be the result of real things as well as
fantasy and when you have consistency of witness accounts and photographic
evidence you do wonder if there really was something more to it.

That said given that these things happened 50-60 years ago and these
technologies are not commonplace. it either means that they were an
impractical means of flight, or the technology involves something such as
for example anti-matter which could also be used for creating deadly weapons
of mass destruction. Well anti-matter can turn 100% of matter to pure energy
even a nuclear reaction only converts about 3% So obviously comparing an
anti-matter bomb to an H Bomb would be like comparing a candle to a
lighthouse. Anti-matter could be used to annihilate the whole planet or
whole continents, you wouldn't want that sort of technology getting into the
hands of terrorists and mad men.

No, I don't think any kind of anti-matter comes into it.
I think that is purely theoretical.

When people talk about anti-gravity, it simply means nullifying the
effects of gravity, so here anti- is different to that of anti-matter,
which is entirely different.

But Nasa are proposing to use Anti-matter to power a human mission to Mars,
so such technology is available and quite real.

I haven't read or heard anything about this news as such.
(Not that I check for this kind of info regularly...)
I don't believe it - unless I know more about it.
But then, I believe NASA is hardly a resource for any kind of information.
They lack credibility. I think we need confirmation from other
sources, that anything NASA says is correct or not?
[I guess I've been watching too many - NASA faked the Apollo Moon
 Landings documentaries, and the likes of 'The Secret NASA Transmissions..'
 material...]

Something that was invented - and then for it be freely available to the
rest of us - I guess takes a great deal of investment, ie. funding -
alongside with further research and development to bring it to fruition.

No doubt, there are many, many stories of amazing inventions and
breakthrough technologies - that you may hear about (over the years)
and very few of these ever surface again... What became of them....???
To get into some kind of news in the first place, I don't think they would 
have been hoaxes or frauds, that is my guess...
