" That’s right, Will Wrights next incarnation, Spore, has finally had
its Official Trailer released. For those that don't know, Spore’s
basic premise is starting off as a microscopic creature (e.g. very
very very small), and evolving, until you gain intelligence (e.g. you
now have the ability to build stuff). Finally, you get to explore
space in your little UFO.
One of the most amazing things about Spore, is that you get to
customize everything. From your creature, to the buildings, to the
vehicles, to the vegetation. And each customization editor allows a
huge range for you to exercise your creative (or twisted) imagination.
The in-game galaxy itself, can contain 500,000 stars. And with an
average planet count of four, that means you get over 2 million
planets to explore! (e.g. it would take you over 56 years real time to
explore every single planet in the in-game galaxy Not only that, but a
single creature file, that includes everything about the species, will
only be the size of 11kbs. This means that Spore can come with
thousands of pre-made creatures, that can populate your planet and
give a perfectly balanced eco-system. Still think that isn't enough?
If you have internet connection, your computer will periodically
download planets, vehicles, buildings and creatures made by other
players to keep the game universe even more amazingly varied than you
can imagine. "

He began to build a tall creature with a great deal of flexibility in
forward and backward movement.
"This is a creature that can kiss its own (butt)," Williams
deadpanned.
As the creature developed, Williams gave it more and more arms. In the
end, it had three full sets of arms and a very long nose to complement
its tall, thin torso and short, squat legs.
"I'm putting together a creature that would make Darwin say, 'Hey, I'm
not taking acid ever again,'" Williams joked.
Referring to the creature's giant nose, Williams cracked, "This is
basically a creature that can do coke from a mile away."
Vely Intalestingu.
Anyway, the PC game I'm looking forward to is...
