You can not make a definitive statement to that unless you were there 
and saw the first strike, as there is no video of the actual impact.

There is a website, which makes the claim that the footage released of
the impact, has been doctored, ie. faked. 

There are websites that claim the Earth is flat, 
and that many politicians are reptilian aliens.
