But Islam is a hierarchical and patriachical organisation led from the top
down. Terror organisations and Military operations are organised in exactly
the same way. In order to find answers there is not much point in looking at
the mindless fanatics at the bottom of the chain of command,  since they
simply follow orders and are usually fed a load of dross about eternal life
or something to keep them in tow.

Ultimately it is the people at the top of these organisations that pull the
strings and generally these people whilst they may be power hungry and evil
men are usually well educated and extremely adept politicians and tend to
lead according to a certain logic and have a particular agenda, which
follows a logical and rational plan, after all the leaders don't normally
blow themselves up, they have the idiots at the bottom to do that.
