The difference between heat and temperature is no more relevant than
the relationship between pressure and temperature where the 9/11
tragedy is concerned. It does, however, serve as another tool of
distraction for those who wish to clog the airways with obscure
prychobabble. Why do you choose to ignore the issue Mr. Graffiti. How
about we just get down to business here. (1) question: WHAT IS THE
MELTING POINT OF STEEL? answer: 2000 degrees farenheit. (2) question:
WHAT CAUSED THE STEEL INFRASTRUCTURE TO FAIL. answer:
??????????????????

Steel would lose half its strength at a temperature of 650C (1200F).

Another factor : The structure was already damaged by a 400000 pound
Boeing 767 impacting it at 500mph a few moments earlier.

Yet another factor : The non uniform temperature of the fire created
additional stress in the structure (non uniformly heated stell expands
non uniformly)

If you're going to try to tell me that a 700 degree fire was enough to
produce 2000 degrees SUSTAINED FOR A PERIOD LONG ENOUGH TO HEAT THE
ENTIRE STEEL FRAME OF THE WTC TO ITS MELTING POINT,

Only conspiracists talk about melted steel. Nobody talks about a 700F
fire. It is typical in a residential fire for the temperature to reach
1000C
(1800F) in the upper half of the room of origin withing 3 to 5 minutes.
