well,reed some eyewitness accounts of crimes.....they are not uniform and equal,some see a rifle some see a revolver.
after a few days everybody seems to have their own memories about events,different colors,etc,
and after years it's totally unreliable.
witnesses are the most unrelible evidence in court...
