IMO, it is quite possible that weakening of the infrastructure created
by the impacts, in conjunction with the heat generated by the fires,
was sufficient enough to cause structural failures on the affected
floors of the WTC towers. But, for both towers to completely collapse
as a result of damage so high up on the structures did not obey the
laws of physics.
Thanks for the kind words.
There are too many points in your post for me to address all
at once. I'll comment only two of them for now. First, I would be
interested to hear what it is about the standard account of the
collapse that seems to you to conflict with the laws of
physics.
There is a very brief summary of this account to be found in the
Final Report on the Collase of the World Trade Center Towers
produes by the NIST :

The summary is on pages 175-176. (I am unable to cut
and paste from my free version of Acrobat Reader.)

The massive pile of debris at ground zero was carted away in record
time
It was indeed carted away in record time. About 1,400,000
tons of debris were brought in barges and flatbed trucks to
the Fresh Kills Lanfill where thousands of detectives, agents
and forensic specialists worked day and night for months
to sift through all the debris -- down to 1/4 inch pebbles -- in
the largest recovery operation in history. I see nothing
suspicious in the operation. It is admirable.
