Kooks also like to claim that thermite was used (magic thermite that burns for weeks). I know they're generally a confused bunch, but why would there be squibs going off it thermite was used?

Anyway, I think every kook who ignorantly bleat about squibs should perform a practical experiment - buy a packet of crisps, lay it on the floor and then stamp on it. The cause of the "squibs" will become obvious to all but the terminally stupid of them.
