Well one can still get away with calling Bush a nutter. Or accuse the US
Government of mass murder without being put in a special hospital for
political dissidents, a prison, or executed. So it's not to bad as
totalitarian systems go. Mind most "democratic" societies are governed by
the media who basically feed the populace with endless propaganda until they
can no longer make decisions for themselves, let alone vote. I suppose they
call it something like Population Moronisation or something. Education also
plays a part in the process, ensuring that any form of interpretive
education that encourages people to think for themselves is limited to
higher education. This ensures the majority of the people can be manipulated
at will.
