that's ALL...

I don't think it's supposed to work like that. If ETs exist and have
been visiting earth for millennia then it seems highly likely to me
they set up the Worlds religions in order to help create social
order and human development.

adhoc thinking...
so why create hundreds of religions ?
to create hostility between each other?
look at the religions today...
nice job...thank you aliens!

Well wars although destructive do have a tendency to create advancements in
technology. If it hadn't have been for Nazi Rocket Scientists the USA and
the Russians would probably have never put men into space. It's possible we
wouldn't even have Jet aircraft. We would probably not have Nuclear Energy.
Practically every piece of advanced technology we have today was either
developed as a result of armed conflict, originally developed as a weapon or
developed as part of the space program, which in the Cold war was also
partially motivated by both a competitive spirit and with the intention of
developing superior weapons (e.g starwars technology etc). Remember men went
to the Moon in the same decade as the Vietnam war. Bush is talking of
sending men back to the moon and even to Mars the US is again involved in a
war. Conflict is an intrinsic part of human development, everything we have
has been paid for with blood.

If ETs are anything like us they would know that creating different
religions and reasons for fighting is exactly how to fuel human development.
Were would we be without death and destruction? It's sad that it has to be
that way, maybe one day we will evolve beyond that and instead of blowing
each other up actually start to help each other and crate a better World for
altruistic reasons. But the only way that's going to happen is if we had
access to technologies capable of providing unlimited free energy and
resources, that would make shortages greed, and unfairness a thing of the
past and totally irrelevant.

If that is true and we knew that for certain then religion as we
know it at present would totally collapse.

ofcourse not, people belief what they are used to.
your theory cannot be proven and so nothing changes..

Eventually it will be proven conclusively, because all the evidence points
in that direction and absence of evidence doesn't count.

Whether or not the World is ready for such a
revelation is debatable.

millions of these ideas are launched every year by
crackpots, jesus did it also, only a few get in the
mainstream flow of acepted ideas...
and become a religion.

That's how human beings work.

I suppose one could argue given that most of the
problems in our world are caused by religion the time has come for
the truth to be revealed. But at the end of the day it doesn't
matter what I think or even what our governments think since it
would be entirely up to the ETs to supply such conclusive and
irrefutable evidence and that sort of interference may not be in
their agenda.

yes better think that way to explain the fact
nobody ever did meet one...and never will...
even if you think enough evidence is out there...

The absence of evidence doesn't count so there is no basis for such an
argement.

However at present we have a situation where in some parts of the
World where we are scientifically advanced and educated to the
extent that we can read the evidence for ourselves and the
documented evidence does appear to point to extensive ET involvement
in human affairs for thousands and thousands of years. Obviously if
one is scientifically advanced, reasonably well educated and have a
resource such as the Internet where one can access unprecedented
amounts of information then certain things that were once
interpreted by our ancestors as supernatural, e.g. things such as
Virgin birth and many other things that have been documented in both
historical and religious texts going back for millennia start to
have a scientific explanation.

However since human technology was (as far as we are aware) not
capable of performing such miracles back then, obviously the only
conclusion one can come to is ETs have been involved in human
development, and the more we learn the more clear this evidence
becomes.

found a cellphone in the pyramids?

Why would ETs be using primitive Cellphones? We already have the technology
to chip our own brains. In which case at some point in the future we won't
even need computers, because we will be able to interface with technology
directly. It means our brains will be connected directly to the internet
which will become a group consciousness or "Tree of Knowledge". The concept
isn't new :)

The Pyramids are a good example of that, the fact that anyone can
check them out on Google Earth and see for themselves that they have
perfect alignment

A new theory on how ancient Egyptians used the
stars to orient the great pyramids could pin down
a construction date as well as tell us why they're
aligned to the north.

Egyptologist, Kate Spence of the University of
Cambridge, proposes in this week's Nature that the
pyramid builders probably got started between 2485
and 2475 BC. She also says she can now explain how
the great pyramids came to be aligned in a
northerly direction.

"Spence has come up with an ingenious solution to
a long-standing mystery," writes Owen Gingerich of
the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics,
Cambridge, Massachusetts, in an accompanying
commentary.

Spence's theory was inspired by the subtle
deviations in the alignment of the pyramid bases
from true north. The Khufu (Cheops) pyramid is
most accurately aligned to the north, deviating
just slightly to the west. The pyramid of
Menkaure, the second pharaoh after Khufu, however,
errs in the other direction, while the three
pyramids of Khufu's predecessor are oriented more
westward as they get older.

So what? If they were built by a primative people, and the pyramids were
what one would expect, we would not need some woman with a higher degree in
astrophysics to invent some fairy tale in an attempt to blind the public
with science, since it would be obviouse how they did it. All this proves is
who ever built the pyramids had more brains than some of our brightest
scientists LOL

But there are many other things that point to us not being alone.
This red rain that was falling in India has been analysed in Cardiff
University (which actually isn't far from where I live) and found to
be a new kind of living organism that has come from space, and at
the end of the day it's not cranks and nutters saying this, you have
highly respected International Scientists coming to such conclusions.

scientist know this for dozens of years now, does
this mean et's are visiting us?
ofcourse not.

It certainly indicates the theory of Panspermia may be correct and there is
ET life. Clue: If Panspermia is correct then if ET life were not visiting us
there would be no life on Earth. Period QED :) IOW our very origins are
Extraterrestrial we are ETs every living thing on this planet is ET the
planet is teaming with ET life it's everywhere. We have living proof :)

However there are many other pieces of information available all of
which are being reported in the mainstream media at least outside
the US if one cares to look for it. Once you piece all this evidence
together it forms a picture. It's not necessary for ETs to land in
ones garden or for governments to make full disclosure.

ofcourse it does,if pfizer is telling us they have
a magical pill wich cures all cancer, nobody
accepts this until they see the results.
they can juggle with reports for years but hard
evidence is needed,get over it.
promises are not enough, for you maybe but not for me.

Glaxo claim to have a cure for bird flu. Governments will buy stocks of Bird
Flu vaccine based on public and media hysteria which of course Glaxo can
create, and Glaxo get a fat cheque. Pardon me for saying it but you have a
very nieve view of the way the World works. :)

But it doesn't mean they aren't.
i invited them for tea,but no...

Perhaps they'd prefer fruit juice :)

you should know, you seem to know them...

Well if Panspermia is correct one thing is certain; It takes one to know one
LOL ;)
