the builders did,artists maybe not?
But the artist's design the buildings, the artist's along with the
preisthood create the culture without which there would be no great
buildings. The art is therefore a very good indication of whether or
not they could have done it. Since it is clear they had no concept of
perspective, it is clear they had no concept of trigonometry no
concept of defining space in terms of X,Y,Z.
they had concept of perspective..how could they
make the statues then?
pure perspective,
Well the statues are somethng of a mystery to. But not that dificult to make
castings using clay and scale things up I guess. It is remarkable that there
are no sophisticated preliminary drawings though. Michelangelo did many
extremely sophisticated drawings and had an awareness of physical anatomy
to.
and when in 100.000 years time a picasso is found
by someone ,they can conclude we were so stupid we
could not even draw straight?
Well actually I know what you are saying but Cubism and many of the things
Picasso did were actually quite sophisticated, because he was looking at
things from many different perpective viewpoints, without an understanding
of perspective and the invention of photography Cubism would never have
happened.
not to mention build something?
your conclusion would be that aliens must have
helped us...or not?
It's hard to be 100% certain, there is the other theory that the pyramids
were built somewhat earlier by an advanced race that was here before. But it
certainly seems unlikely they were all built by the Ancient Egyptians.
