Well part of the problem is archaeology can only interpret the past in the
light of prevailing contemporary knowledge and will also tend to interpret
things according to contemporary opinions and pre-conceptions. Sometimes it
takes time for evidence the be interpreted and for things to come to light.

check them out on Google Earth and see for themselves that they
