2. Millions of billions of galaxies each holding millions of solar
systems are completely bare of any life.

the chance of live in the universe is very high,every scientist agrees wit that...
the chance of visiting us is VERY unlikely...
and the wooden sticks and alu foil in a desert is NOT proof...
you shout "praise the alien" at it but it's nothing more than 50's technology..

3. (Even confronted with the fact that time and space distances for
"light" are Zero) they insist that nothing can come from outside,
because of time and distance.

a plausible reason,startrek techs  are only hollywood fantasy.
