Yea, Toots, there is love and peace all around us.  Open any paper, tune in 
any channel, nothing but tales of mankind's love, peaceful intentions and 
understanding for each other.
Guess what, if ETs really were attempting to land on Earth, the powers that 
be would scramble every available flying killing machine to shoot them down. 
So much for love, peace and understanding and a friendly welcome by the 
peace loving Earthlings
