Yeah well, I do have a collection of documentaries that deal with
Zero Point Energy and similar technologies.
Only problem is - they are very technical and beyond my understanding.
Oh yes, Zero Point Energy exists - see the 'Casimir Effect'.
And read "The Hunt for Zero Point" by Nick Cook.
I think I have just about every documentary about Nikola Tesla now -
why don't you read everything you can about Tesla - and tell me he
wasn't a real scientist? Perhaps the greatest scientist of all time?
If you were take away everything that depended upon Tesla, we'll be
running dangerous DC generators every 6? miles, all thanks to Edison.

There is such a rare thing as a visionary scientist - they step outside
the 'norm' and take us beyond current technology.

-------quote----------

Controversy arises when such devices are promoted without scientifically acceptable evidence that they tap the energy sources claimed. Promoters of such devices often demonstrate a lack of understanding of how the device might produce energy in accordance with widely accepted scientific facts and methods. They may have problems with the development or communication of a reasonable theory, and often fail to look for simpler explanations for the claimed performance of a device. (See Occam's razor)

Any of these behaviours are liable to taint the reputations of those involved with such devices, and qualified researchers are therefore likely to be reluctant to make any attempt to verify or even seriously dismiss such a device until its promoters demonstrate enough competence to be taken seriously.
