Yeah. Pettiness often comes down to that. Whenever we see some kid in a
schoolyard say something like "Oh Yeah? We'll so's your old man" the
thing we think is that it's stupid and outdated. That's the way it is
with the lowest levels of insult. No imagination. The same thing is
going on when I hear some bigot say "Jew bankers!" instead of "Jewish
Bankers" The insult is still there, but it's combined with rank
stupidity as well.

If the correct and well-known term is "Democratic" and the word "Democrat"
is deliberately used instead...
