Yeah. Pettiness often comes down to that. Whenever we see some kid in
a schoolyard say something like "Oh Yeah? We'll so's your old man" the
thing we think is that it's stupid and outdated. That's the way it is
with the lowest levels of insult. No imagination. The same thing is
going on when I hear some bigot say "Jew bankers!" instead of "Jewish
Bankers" The insult is still there, but it's combined with rank
stupidity as well.
Oh! Now I understand!
Doubtful.
"Democrat" is a derogatory term.
If the correct and well-known term is "Democratic" and the word "Democrat"
is deliberately used instead, it's not only derogatory but as childish as
your remarks.
I was merely looking for why you found it insulting. You provided the "Jew"
analogy to help me understand and I thanked you for it. Why you continue
looking for insults where there aren't any is very strange, don't you think?
There's no such thing as a "Democrat Party" in America.
I never said there was. In fact my first post stated very clearly "Democrats
in the Democratic Party". It does not fit the naming pattern of the other
major parties, but neither does the Marijuana Party. Found that on
Wikipedia, which has an interesting list of political parties.

It's the Democratic Party. If you're bright enough to know that and you
can't bring yourself to say it, you've got a problem.
I did say it in my first post. Did you bother reading it?
Thank you for
clarifying...
