Once again, a serious talk concering a legitimate UFO sighting, that
has obviously been covered up, is reduced to the mental meanderings of
Bible thumping apocalyptic anal retentives.  No one questioning the
creditablity of the witnessess? No one questioning why it took two
months to surface?  Is there anyone in this NG with credentials willing
to step up and tell it like it is?  Some of you are in the know. Or is
this the best you can do? 

I've seen a UFO, which is to say it flew, looked odd, and I sure couldn't identify it. It turned out to be a stealth helicopter, as later verified by a friend camping with us, who also saw it and who was in the Air Force at the time.

When the experts investigate UFOs, in almost all cases the UFO has a terrestrial origin or is a weather phenomenon. In this case it might be a freak cloud that looked like a disk (example: supercell thunderstorms often have a disk shape). A quick search found this:

This doesn't mean there are no aliens around but it's unlikely, as they're subject to the speed of light in their travels just like we are.
