One of my friends I was with once
used an honesty box at a country farm.
It's a roadside stall of fruit with no sales people.
(New Zealand)

My friend got some fruit and put some money in the open box.
Then drove away about five kilometers.
And then realized he had taken the wrong change.
So then drove back to the honesty box and fixed the correct money.

Because of that, the owner of the stall had a bit of food and a cuddle
with the man or lady of the farm.
