Guaranteed to ward off the money collectors:I built one of those more than 10 years ago. I was able to cook plywood at a distance of 20 feet in less than 10 seconds. It took a lot of power but was impressive. I recall just for fun I cooked my neighbors dog from a window while they watched and couldn't figure out why their dog was yelping in pain. Suddenly the dog laid over and his fur burst into flames. Then I cut off the waveGun. They called the cops and actually told them they thought it may have been aliens/ufo stuff. It also comes in handy when you want to make a auto insurance claim on a car with a bad motor/transmission. The car with burn quickly and at a higher temp than normal. It gets way out of hand really fast. You take your time calling the fire dept, wait like 3-5 minutes. They can't save the car and you get the cash. I did make a portable one but it required a battery weighing more than 80 pounds and that just wasn't doable to me. Then 9/11 happened and I had to bury the microwave thing in my bunker which is 500 feet below the surface and has a 6 inch think blast door on top of it. There is enough power, food and water down their to live for about 6-7 years if I need to. Cheers.
Pedro's "microwave howitzer" is actually a Ronco Pocket Fisherman with a Bic lighter duct taped to the end. And his food stocked "bunker" is an old root celler where his sister sells candy bars and blow jobs.
