The fact is THEY already DID show up, and there's an ET saucer at
Groom Lake to prove it.

The ETs gave you their technology to figure out how to escape Earth
because Earth is no longer fit for life inhabitation.  You're on the
verge of extinction, and unless you figure out where you went wrong
and find another home planet, you're toast.
