For anyone left in these groups still interested in
UFOs...
Robert G. Todd was not a well known name in the
popular culture of
UFOs... but he should have been. I'm sorry to report
that Bob died on
March 22, 2007 after a long illness.
Starting in the early '80s, Bob pioneered the use of
the FOIA to tease
formally classified documents out of the US
government and the
military. It was through his efforts that many
important UFO-related
documents were discovered buried in many a government
archive,
He was a tenacious researcher, and he concentrated
much of his time on
the Roswell Incident. It was Bob who discovered the
once Top Secret
Mogul Project, and he was the one that followed the
trail to the NYU
project that was flying the Radar reflector that
caused such a furor.
Bob was also responsible for "finding" the REAL
Schulgen Memo and
exposing the forgery.
As a result of his work, Bob was not exactly well
liked by many of
"the Believers", but no one can deny that he brought
to his research a
high degree of honesty and integrety.
He will be sorely missed.

Hi Bruce,
Glad to hear that you are still around.
Very sorry to hear about Bob passing.
Not much use in reading these NG's any more, seldom any
UFO conversations.
Regards,
Harry
