A lot of you might've thought the eBay reserve I had placed on my
petrified bones, teeth and soft organs -- some human -- discovered
between anthracite veins was ridiculously high.
<
Some skeptics, in fact (mostly at talk.origins and in the sci. groups)
said they wouldn't pay $9.99, let alone meet my reserve price of
$1.7 billion (despite free shipping and handling).
<
Well, I've just learned from a confidential source at eBay that an
inquiry has been made whether Paypal can be used if the reserve
is met and a consortium winds up as the new owner with an e-Snipe
bid at the very last moment..

My source tells me the bid would be made by a group of
organizations which includes the American Association of Physical
Anthropologists, American Association for the Advancement of Science,
the Smithsonian, the University of California-Berkeley, the University
of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, National Association for
Research in Science Teaching, Bill Gates and Paul Myers (University of
Minnesota), plus some financial support from brain-dead regulars on
sci.anthropology, sci.bio.evolution AND talk.origins (but not
moderator David Iain Greig, the freakin' cheapskate).

The consortium, I understand, certainly wouldn't put the petrified
bones, teeth and soft organs (some human) on display in any
museum. It doesn't want to prove to the public that Darwin's -- and
the evolutionists' -- theory of evolution is a BIG WHITE LIE.

Instead, I understand, the priceless fossils would be buried in the
basement of the Smithsonian -- as many myth-busting artifacts are --
and never again see the light of day.

I understand the consortium will wait until the final seconds to bid,
an effort to keep its cost at a minimum.

Isn't it just amazing the price of truth -- and scientific denial?
