Strange parallel here .. my oldest friend has exactly the same
"problem". He would lie about everything for no reason, even if
you asked him what time it is. Once he told me that he believes
that this gives him power over everything, but I think this was a
lie too.

I just woke up.
Yeah, well, that old friend was an experience.
I got to know his father, and found out that his father was just a
tough old barstool.
There was a lot of love and intelligence in him.
But he went through World War II
and Vietnam.
