Well, actually, humans have been eating old salted meat or dried meat
for thousands of years.

There are those of us who prefer fruit and nuts :-)

I've been thinking about that history a lot recently too.

Seems that you think too much.

i.e.
If many different species of extraterrestrials are real, did they all
