I think I never told anyone in Newsgroups that I used to listen to the

A few other mates would often visit too.

Well, I've never much liked dried red chili or dried green chili.
I sometimes put dried red chili in with my garlic and Italian mia
spaghetti.

Well, here is the funny part ...
I never knew that jalape�o was in fact green chili.
A girlfriend likes jalape�o.

Hot chiles are considered an aphrodisiac by many indigenous cultures so you 
are on the right track. I am proud of you!

Anyway, I never liked jalape�o because I tried them whole in the past.
But recently I have become addicted to jalape�o.

Yes, 1 out of every 3 people that try Jalape�o peppers, become addicted; the 
goverment cannot seem to stop this... 8^)

I make homemade 'Subways'.
(just on normal cheap whole grain bread)
Vegetables, mixed salad, bit of grated cheese, sometimes a bit of
meat, roasted garlic, fried mushrooms, salt, pepper, etc, and ...
that new love of mine ... jalape�o.

And I never knew they were "jalape�o".

Well, actually there are chiles, chile peppers and peppers. Generally, a 
Jalapeno is a chile pepper and a Bell pepper is a, er, well it's a pepper. 
Usually, 'chile' is used as part of the name for a specific capsicum if it 
is either spicey and/or hot. They are related and share the same 
evolutionary path.

A Jalapeno, when green, is a green chile pepper and when it is red, um, er, 
it is a red chile pepper. Now, when ElRon (who's that?!) or Earl Dombrowski 
talks of green chiles, they are referring to the variety grown in in Hatch, 
New Mexico and surrounding areas; this chile is long and green and used for 
Chile Rellanos, Caldillo and green chile sauce (what makes green chile 
chicen enchiladas green). At the end of the season, it will turn red and is 
used for red enchilada sauce and removing hemorrhoids. Gift from the gods of 
spice, beer and ice cream.

Now, there is also 'chili', which is made from dried red chile and other 
spices and is always red; if you have a pot of Green Chili in the 
refrigerator then it usually time to throw it out! Other than that, it is 
all good!

Not to be confused with Green Eggs and Ham. Dr. Seuss was probably on the 
goverment's list of Jalapeno addicts or lived somewhere in New Mexico.....
