Are ufos still being seen fairly regularly? I'm out of date..
Charles Fort in his books seems to mention Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland,
as a ufo 'hot spot', back in his days. A few years ago I saw somewhere that
there is a town in Scotland that is a modern ufo hot spot. What is the name
of that town? And what is it about those places that interests ufos?
Fort noted falls of substances from the sky, which he may have thought are
due to: matter and ice in outer space different from comets or asteroids; or
matter injected from what we think of as exploding stars, and that arrive on
Earth, say, a few weeks after the explosion; or food stores, or possibly
waste matter, jettisoned from giant ufos; or the products of ufo battles.
He said it was harder for him to find anomalous reports in newspapers and
journals starting about 1880. Were the editors rejecting such reports? Or,
is it possible that the Earth was passing through a volume of space that was
full of unauthorized matter, and have we now passed through that portion of
space into an uncluttered region? Are substances still falling, just as
they did in The Book of the Damned? Or was Fort just an anomaly?
