No that's not what Sitchen says.  He says the biological creators
of the human race are dead and gone.  They promised they'd come
back (hence the religious mythos) but never did because they were
killed off . Human beings have been waiting for the return of the gods
for a few
 thousand years now -- but they'll never return because they're all
