After complaining to abuse@coretel.net  (69.72.83.93 - host of this weird,  way-off topic spam), I received the following reply. <mailto:abuse@coretel.net>

Perhaps with enough complaints  to abuse@cortele.net about this way-off topic, ongoing spam, they might get the message about this quack poster.

dhswip@peer1.com should be included as the host of edconrad.com (along with spam@uce.gov).

If you want  some semblance of sanity in your conversations, use a moderated  forum, not an unmoderated newsgroup relayed among tens of thousand  NNTP servers. We cannot and will not do anything about these postings  unless a listed newsgroup moderator lodges a complaint, (in which  case, all we can do is forward it to an ISP for action). Please  desist from relaying messages from UseNet to our service queue.
