it's kinda scary... the thought of 'ufologists' banning outright any
dissenting views. It is their organization, and they've the right to ban
those nasty naysayers.. but is it really the smart thing to do? Should they
perhaps ban also the true believers who get their info from psychic contact
with their handlers on Zeta Reticuli?
Ufology (yeah, i know, it 'doesn't exist') needs more skeptical thinkers.
Not outright debunkers, but thinkers who will call into questions some
popular ideas and reports. This simply activity would cut down on much of
the 'noise' washing over the phenomenon and would allow others to not only
learn how they're being misled, but to concentrate sincere efforts on
worthwhile cases and events rather than wasting time on what can only be
called 'woowoo'.
