Sir Gilligan Horry's Computer Gave Up UFO Research !!!

LOL :)  ... I'm at an internet cafe now, Mr HVAC will get a laugh out
of this .......

I recently moved into a new apartment in a nice area in this city here
in New Zealand.
Actually it's an old building with an old Atlas oven that I would
never use.
And because I would never use that oven, I decided to hide my new
laptop
in the warmer drawer at bottom of the oven.

Well, the landlord came in yesterday to fix some floorboards
and used the power point on the old Atlas oven.
He couldn't get the power to come on, so we were flicking funny old
switches,
and a light came on and the power came on, and we thought "great".
After he finished the floorboards, we were both in a hurry to leave
the building to go out for the day.

I came back 3 hours later to find my brand new laptop melted.


So I won't be able to hang around these newsgroups over Christmas.

Yes, HVAC, ... "Boo Fluffing Hoo"  ...... I know you will all miss
me  :-)

Give my best regards to my old Manda matey Charles, please.

I will be busy doing a couple of projects to be able to buy
another new laptop over the next few weeks.
