OK, an interesting true story from Sir Gilligan Horry.

My Ex-Chinese-Wife...
(a lovely happy girl but a bit of a 'gong daiwa')

... used to walk for miles to get to work in Auckland, New Zealand, to
make sandwiches in a cafe .... while her parents in Communist China
were sitting on over a million dollars worth of gold in secret.

Told you I was interesting, HVAC.
Ops, hold on, I'm supposed to be funny.

Well, it is funny, aye.

And there is more to the true story.

I will reply here instead of replying to HVAC or Charles.

Well, the father died of liver cancer
at age 65 and he never drank booze.
That was a year or two after he disclosed
the gold. (That answers HVACs post)

And, yes Charles I'm not sure if it would have helped her make better
sandwiches. She ended up doing the old trick of buying three houses
here and getting tenants to pay her rent forever.

I suppose tenants making sandwiches all day everyday.

And fortunately able to study about space in the evening!
