I got this because it can be use at the gym, fashionable for work, and casual enough for every day wear.  First off the image shown is true to the look, but the face is very large in diameter.  I guess that is the trend these days, larger face watches.  The red highlights on the dials resemble the Swiss Army or Wrenger style watches, sporty look.  There is no backlighting, but if you get some nightlight reflection off the metal dials with some glowing materials; you can see the time in low lighting.

The only thing that I am still puzzled is the long skinny hand that looks like a second dial.  This dial only works as a second dial for the stop watch features/chronograph, otherwise it is just point at the 12.   The second dial is actually the tiny small hand at the bottom.  If I wanted to get a thinner chronograph watch, but had more money than Skagen is great.  If I had more extra cash, then the Seiko Sportura looks great, but this Kenneth Cole looks just as good and fits the bill.  This is my second Kenneth Cole watch (1st:#KC1296) and they both works fine.
