After using this on my 22 month old, I noticed red, dry skin on her ears, chin and cheeks.  I did use it again after the original symptoms cleared up to see if this was the culprit versus something else and the redness and dry skin came back.
This has worked really well for me and my 2 yr old twins.  I found it through Skin Deep, the Environmental Working Group's cosmetic database.  It gets great ratings for sun protection and minimal toxicity.  It goes on easily, dries quickly, and kept them tan and burn free for a week in the Caribbean.  It's so light feeling it's deceptive but it works!  I started using it myself when I felt how non-greasy and light it feels on the skin.
I LOVE Kinesys sunscreens! I first learned of them from the Environmental Working Group study of 1,000 sunscreens - Kinesys was rated #1 spray sunscreen. After that, I started using religiously and it's the best sunscreen I've ever used. I'm fair (as is my family) and this sunscreen keeps us protected and I love the spray application (as for Jen's review, if you don't apply properly, you might burn). 
Also, they're environmentally-friendly - non-aerosol spray, carbon-neutral, vegan and cruelty-free, with recyclable/recycled packaging!
Best sunscreen I've ever used!
I bought this because of its rating by the Environmental Working Group.  Its ingredients are safe to use and it's very effective.  It's easy to spray on -- no rubbing required.  Not greasy.  No strong smells. It's the main thing I've used on my toddler, and it's been great for hot days at the pool or beach.  My husband and I both love to use it too.  The only downside is the cost.
I have tried just about every sunscreen out there and Kinesys is by far the best.  The spray makes it quick and easy to apply, it isn't greasy (a must for my husband and kids) and is unscented so you don't stink.  It absorbs quickly and is good on your face.  I use it every day, year round and it's much easier to apply on squirmy kids than the stinky, greasy lotions most people use.  Try it, you'll love it!
