Some of the bogus and ignorant claims UFO skeptics make.

1/ UFO skeptics proudly claim that there is no evidence what
so ever that ETs have visited this planet.
That is true in one sense and one sense only - there is no evidence
available for public viewing.
If however they were to do some actual research, that is without their minds
already being made up as to the answer, they would find that there are very
credible testimonies from insiders that the military have in fact secretly
recovered craft from many locations over decades and placed them in hangars
for study.
One reason they didn't want us to know about them is they wanted to gain new
technology to use for war, but there are reasons.

2/ They ignorantly and cynically claim that all UFO contactees are either
mentally ill / hallucinating / delusional, are scammers wanting to make
money, or have the aerial object identifying skills of a fifteen year old.
This is simply not true. Personality profiles on the experiencers have
revealed no such thing.
They also claim that the experiencers are UFO enthusiasts and/or they watch
Star Trek or the X-Files etc. This is also in no way true. Almost all are
ordinary people from all walks of life including career professionals like
police officers, airforce pilots, high ranking officers including naval etc.
The only reason they got into the subject of UFOs was to find out what they
experienced.

3/ They claim that other star systems are too far away for ETs to be able to
get here. That would only be true if they were restricted to the speed of
light travel or slower, which if they are millennia ahead of us in
technology which is evidenced by the speed and manoeuvrability of their
craft then they wouldn't. Even we primitive humans already
have theories on superior alternative forms of space travel.

4/ They claim that if ETs were coming here then they would just land on the
Whitehouse lawn and say take me to your leader. That claim is so childish
there's no need to comment on it except to point out that we are still
very much a quarrelsome war like race. We can't even get along with each
other let alone accept a race of ETs without destroying ourselves or them
sooner or later. But then there's also the big problem of our backward
religious institutions, and our authoritarian and exploitatory political,
military and corporate establishments. Sadly we are not yet ready for mass
ET contact except on the very small individual scale.
