Either you have physical replicable evidence of ghosts or you don't.

Since ghosts are metaphysical not physical that's going to be rather hard 
for a start.
And since when are ghost activities (with the exception of s�ances) 
repeatable? That's the scientific method you're referring to. You need to go 
a bit beyond that kind of mechanical method with this sort of thing.
However you can gather much data on what ghosts are and even see some 
physical evidence depending on whether objects were moved or things were 
captured on video.
There are many things we can learn about the dimensions beyond this physical 
world.


Same as UFOs being alien spacecraft.
No evidence that they are anything but Unidentified Flying Objects....


*You* don't know of any. If you don't seek the evidence then how can you 
expect to find any?
Others however have found lots of evidence in the form of thousands of 
witness testimonies, official documents and videos of recovered hardware.
