President and commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the United
States Barack Obama delivered his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance
address in Oslo on December 10, which has immediately led to media
discussion of an Obama Doctrine.

He's always been excellent at reading texts from a teleprompter that were 
written by someone else ... if the teleprompter had failed, Obama would have 
been reduced to mono-syllables.

Giving him the Nobel Peace Prize has finally de-valued that once noble award 
to a meaningless gesture by a committee that has long since lost any touch 
with reality. The first signs of disconnect should have been evident when 
Jimmy Carter and Yassir Arafat were chosen.
