But LBJ was just a side-note in history he could not give us a
focusing-point for our dreams ... the murder of JFK was the end of
all hopes.


Today, JFK would never be elected because he would be considered
far too conservative. His tax cutting vision of economic growth sadly
has gone out of style. Not even Regan came close to what Kennedy
started. Also, his policies of military adventurism far outweighs what is
going on today, including the so called 'Bush Doctrine'.


It was a hell of a shot though!
