A friend of mine pushed her pram down the road
two weeks ago, and saw a Silvereye chick
weak and sitting on the ground.

That friend didn't know what to do
and after walking to town, caught
a bus home and then phoned
my other friend, saying "I saw a lost Silvereye".

Well my other friend got a rough idea of the location and walked there
to try to find the Silvereye chick, and found it.

Cut a long story short... Me and Her have been looking after that
Silvereye chick for two weeks. And it's hard work.

We went to the RSPCA
and they gave us three types of powders
and instructions and vitamins to feed the chick.

The chick nearly died twice.
Once from not being able to do poo.

But now it's happy.

What a journey for all of us.

Phew !!!
