We must change our social, cultural, economic, and financial systems,
globally, to unify every country with all other countries. Greed,
stupidity, racism, and religions are keeping us from accomplishing
this. This is the first step we must take as Universal Citizens, in a
universe populated with intelligent people, in all directions. To
think we are the only intelligent life and the only human beings in
the universe, as the Catholic church teaches, is pure nonsense. It's
time to cast off all the excess baggage we have left over from
centuries of religious intolerance, and general ignorance towards
others. Only then can we unite with other intelligent races of people
in our home, this universe.

The question first. Isn't it possible that there are things about
physics that we know relatively nothing about, that could be developed
and ultimately used to allow us to accomplish space travel?

Now, my story. It would really be interesting to have visitors from
other galaxies share their space travel and other technologies with
us. About five years ago, I was on my way into my apartment complex,
and in the parking area, a space ship pulled up, and hovered a few
feet off the ground, at about thirty feet from me. It had a large
fuselage, and at the top, there were a wing on each side that came out
from the craft at the top of the fuselage about twenty five or so
feet, and then took a sharp 90 degree downward bend extending about 15
feet. The fuselage was not round but it was more like a boat hull but
not noticeably rounded at the bottom, either.

From the bottom of the craft to the top of the fuselage, it must have
been about forty or so feet and it must have been sixty to seventy
feet in length. There was arching violet to purple colored electricity
all over the hull and wings of the craft. The electricity reminded me
of the kind you see in a TESLA coil. I could feel, smell, and hear the
noises of the exhaust gasses as the ship hovered. There was a
hatchway, a debarking/embarking stairway passage door, and there was a
man about six feet tall standing in the hatchway. The hatchway was at
the bottom of the fuselage, and behind him, you could see a staircase
going up to the top deck inside the ship. He just sort of looked at
me, and I looked back. I didn't act surprised, and in another instant,
the ship zipped away.

The arching electricity was a technology used to maintain the
integrity of the hull and wings, the exterior of the craft. We use
cathodic protection to keep metal tanks and ships from rusting, and
they use some kind of electricity based technology to protect the
exterior materials of the ship.

This kind of technology for space travel exists in our universe, and
who has got it, I don't know, but I know they are not going to share
it with us, until we develop a *ONE WORLD UNIFIED GOVERNMENT* with no
borders, no animosities between racial groups, and with all peoples
committed to the welfare of each and every other person on this
planet, and at the same time, committed to the peaceful coexistence
and prosperous welfare of every other human being in our universe.
It's time to look beyond our world, to all the worlds out there, in
our universe, where intelligent life thrives and it is time to give up
our animosities, our borders, and unify our planet.

I'm pretty certain that our governments know about this. These people
from other galaxies aren't lamers. They have communicated their terms
to our governments, and our governments have met with one and another
and discussed them behind closed doors. If this information were to
get out, it would shatter the foundations of the world's religions
that believe in a creator "God". Not only that, but our government in
the U.S., much like in many other countries I believe I can assume,
bases itself on the belief system of the bible and all of that would
be thrown out the window, given the larger, expanded view of things.

It's time to put a stop to people in Iran and North Korea, Israel, and
where ever else, bent on nuclear weapons proliferation, and it is time
to put a stop to all nuclear weapons development. Further, it is time
to unify our planet, governmentally, economically, financially,
linguistically, and culturally so that we can understand each other
cross culturally, and it is time to unify the laws we uphold from one
county to the next, and bring down, and erase all national borders.

John Ayres

May I ask you, what government type would you hope this centralized system
would utilize?

That's something for a think tank or two, or more, to delve into, and
come up with a solution for. All I know is that we, as a planet, must
get beyond our petty differences, and unite as a global body. The
leadership in such an undertaking, as I understand it, is comprised of
representatives from each nation on the planet, and I think they take
turns leading versus supporting so every one gets a turn at leading.
The tasks each person's position is required to perform are spelled
out in the organization's charter.

There may be some persons who are more qualified than others at global
leadership. I would suppose there are exams for the position, which
means there is study material and each person who wants to give it a
shot at global leadership prepares by studying, and then by taking the
exams.

I've never looked into the specifics of the U.N., but I'm pretty sure
much can be learned from their experience since their inception.

Perhaps you should have been given choices?
Democracy? Republic? Should there be an emperor/king with absolute
authority?
Socialism, communism, capitalism, you have many things from which to choose!
Here is a new one: government by consensus.
What "type" of government do you feel would best comprise the system you say
is needed?

Also, with all the leakage of information that goes on now, how do you
conclude that the people in governments are able to contain the
information
about extraterrestrials that you aver already exists "behind closed
doors"?

It's only my assumption that the "extra terrestrials" have made
contact. If the information is kept secret among a select few people,
who from one administration to the next keep it in sworn confidence, I
don't think it is something that woud be leaked, not if it is given
the highest priority for secrecy.

Some things can be kept secret. We haven't a clue as to what the CIA
is doing, only a lot of guesses, I suspect. People in these types of
jobs don't open their mouths about certain things. For example,
employees of the CIA, as an accepted code of conduct, are not to
discuss that they work for the CIA. If you can not get them even to
discuss that they work for the CIA, how do you get them to leak
information? I guess the answer is, it doesn't happen.

People don't know what the CIA operatives are doing because they don't want
to know.
People are interested only in the violence and the intrigue.
Most CIA workers do jobs in which other people would be completely
uninterested.
However, any secrets worth telling seem to leak.
Don't you think that an ET secret would be worth leaking to the public?

Lastly, it is one thing to call for all this unification, and it is quite
another to actually implement it.
What do you suggest as steps to put this unification in place?

Well, firstly, we need a little help here from the "extra terrestrial"
folks. We need to get the attention of those who are a part of a
civilization which unified globally, who are out there listening, or
rather, reading, and who haven't made their presence clear enough.
Secondly, once we get their attention, and once we get their
cooperation, we have got to get them to make their presence clear.
Next, we have all got to realize that we are not alone. From the sheep
farmer in Saudi Arabia, to the Enuit hunter in Canada. Education is
the key to that.

You must realize that any ET folks would be vastly more advanced in
technology if they have the capability to find Earth and to travel here.
Why should they bother trying to educate anyone, when the highest technology
on Earth is used by its holders to kill each other?
So firstly, we need a little help here from EACH OTHER.
We cannot expect to get the right attention from other civilizations if our
civilization would be considered violent and dangerous, can we?
If anyone here can truly realize that "we are not alone", then try to put
yourself in the "shoes" of the ETs.
Would YOU want to make YOUR presence clear?

Next, we've got to realize that global unification is the only answer
to the question of can we or can we not share in the technologies
these people have and can make available, the science and the know
how, for us. For that, a movement must begin in the direction that
will lead to global unification, and evenutally to the sharing of
technologies with us.

It won't go anywhere, unless we know there is a benefit to us for
proceeding with global unification. So, I on the one hand, call on our
"extra terrestrial" neighbors to make their presence known. Until we
see that and realize there are possibilities, there is little hope
that we'll gain any real momentum, here.

You should probably hope earnestly that this isn't true.
People must gain the "momentum" of which you speak ON THEIR OWN.
Only this will make any possibly existing ET's respect the integrity of
human beings.

My understanding is that this type of thing, global unification, goes
on across our universe, with one planet after another, globally
uniting. It's a big task for the people in charge to help even just
one planet of people get globally united. Where this goes on, there
are many experienced individuals who have the blueprints for how
people are to proceed to achieve global unification. As I mentioned,
elsewhere, we unite globally, but we also unite with our mentor
planet(s). So, it is quite a long and involved process, but we need to
start somewhere.

So as goof ballish as many people are about UFO sightings, and alien,
or extra terrestrial contact, for example all the tounge in cheek
jokes about area 51 and aliens, which comes to mind, eventually, we
need some cold, hard facts to substantiate their existence. Next, we
need to make contact with a mentoring civilization. For that, it would
help if we had radio telecommunications technologies that could
instantaneously transmit a signal to any part of the universe and
recieve signals instantaneously from any part, as well. Developing
this technology would be a good first step towards making contact with
others in our universe.

You talk below of wasted monies.
All monies are wasted that do not improve the human condition on Earth.
If it is the attention of the galactic community that you want to draw, this
can be done by an earnest attempt to make life better for all living things
on Earth, including fellow human beings.
Money should not be spent trying to contact others in our universe.
Even if they heard us, they would ignore us until we were able to get our
stuff together.
Spend money locally, globally, to improve the lives of all of Earth's
inhabitants, and of the Earth herself.

Not to sound as if I'm griping, but it's a waste of money, nearly, to
put people on a space platform, and shuttle them back and forth. I'm
not up on what is going on with research projects in the space lab,
but it is for the most part carried out for the vested interests of
the parties concerned, i.e., they want to make a profit out of their
investment, and not much thought is given to "human kinds" better
interests.

IMO, our governments' monies would be better spent expanding the
boundaries of telecommunication science until we come up with the
science and a solution for instantaneously talking with folks in any
part of our universe.

This is off topic, but further, IMO, in this day of transparency, a
public accounting should be made of all the monies spent on the space
shuttle program, as well as the space lab program and all other
governmental scientific projects, and it should all be made public on
the internet, and it should list who is doing what and for what
purpose, and what are the plans for future utilization of taxpayers'
monies.

From the viewpoint of our extra terrestrial neighbors, if we haven't
got the sense to realize we're possibly wasting our time and money for
vested interest groups shuttling people back and forth to a space lab,
and spending who knows how much to maintain the thing, while we can't
even figure out the science for telecommunication across the vast
reaches of space, we must look like real idiots to them, IMHO.

That we haven't got our priorities straight and that there is no
government transparency are big minuses for us given their view of
things, or so that's what I believe.

John Ayres

The thing that makes humans look like idiots is that there are so many human
lives that are ignored.
We make war with each other without any care for civilians, women and
children.
We intrigue with each other because it adds "feeling" to our lives and makes
us wealthy.
If we cannot bring ourselves, both as individuals AND as a species, to care
for our house, the ONLY house we know of, planet Earth, and to care for each
other regardless of race, religion, gender or politics, then how can we
expect outsiders to care?

WHO should they care about, John Ayres?
Should they care about the Muslims and piss off Christians and Jews?
Should they care about conservatives and piss off the liberals?
Should they care about the French people and piss of the Italians?
Should they care about the Irish and piss off the Brits?

Until we get our stuff together, we can expect to be ignored and avoided by
any INTELLIGENT society of outsiders.
