Now don't you enjoy at least temporary absolute authority over the
Solar system? Seems as though you are acting in the capacity of a
Viceroy!
My "absolute authority" is only appropriate for decisions that need to be
made immediately.
That hardly ever happens.
For the vast majority of my charges, there is plenty of time to seek
consensus among all of us.
Socialism, communism, capitalism, you have many things from which to
choose!
Here is a new one: government by consensus.
What "type" of government do you feel would best comprise the system
you
say
is needed?
I have told he my bad experiences with consensus management process.
Although I suppose it arises out the the shortcomings of pure
democratic process, where a majority can so easily ignore the minority
viewpoint. Democratic governments often try to hybridize themselves
to gain some of the advantages of a more authoritarian system, say by
hiring a city manager. Uniting all the different customs, beliefs,
and traditions of all the world's peoples into a world system that
would work would be very difficult.
Suppose it arises out of the misunderstanding of what a true consensus
is,
Double-A.
There is no "majority rule" in consensus, so there is no ignoring or
stomping all over the minority viewpoint.
True consensus is agreement on the part of everyone.
Everyone agrees.
THAT is true consensus.
And yes, as wild and crazy as it may sound, it is plausible.
You talk below of wasted monies.
All monies are wasted that do not improve the human condition on
Earth.
Knowledge in itself cannot be an end?
Knowledge usually improves the human condition.
There are priorities, though.
Or should be.
Well, how did we get to were we are today? Carl Sagan speculated it
was by genocidal extermination of all other races of apes that showed
intelligence and evolving speech abilities.
Double-A
That sounds as if he thought H. sapiens was brutal and unforgiving.
Their battles with earlier genus Homo and promising primates were
defensive.
Yet sapiens usually came out victor.
And now, things have changed.

In this global and very public Usenet/newsgroup are a number of
extremely faith-based and/or politically skewed individuals that
remain in charge, that officially can’t allow any change or revision
to the public record of history regardless of the mostly constructive
consequences, which includes matters of present day that’ll instantly
become history once anything gets published outside of their
authority, and this authority would insist that any objection to their
mindset (regardless of it’s highly specific or individualistic nature)
is an attack imposed upon all of their kind.
Unfortunately, there are few within this public forum of publishing
that bother to police their own kind, so that systematic mainstream
bullyism and clownism are the status quo of their normal killer-bee
swarm like behavior, that includes tactics of transference and usually
along with their faith-based and political intent to suppress as much
truth and other related information as possible.
Seans don't seem to have what it takes for neutralizing the likes of
rabbi Saul Levy and his faith-based army of brown-nosed clowns and
minions that all think exactly alike.
If I were 0.1% sean, my efforts would make a great difference, So,
what's your 100% sean excuse this time?

Brad, we don't "neutralize" rabbis and Sauls for the same reason we don't
neutralize you!
We like you and we hope you all find ways to let your good sides shine
through!
But don't worry, the goods and bads of humanity will not keep us from
officially contacting!
We just don't want 40% of you committing suicide on account of us!
We want as many of you as possible to really begin to enjoy the galaxy and
the universe!

Freedom is for EVERYONE!
Promote liberty for ALL!
A 40% loss would be similar to WW3, and we're about to do that
anyway. All it's going to take is one more 911 event and all hell is
going to bust loose. Otherwise our LHC could easily naturalize 40% of
us by creating a terrestrial nova and/or a black magnetic hole that
consumes everything (including our sun). So, perhaps right about now
is as good of time as any.
