Freedom of speech especially means allowing views that you would 
despise. So you'll get anti-semitism, racism, pedophilia etc in spades- 
ignoring it is better than having an arbiter who would censor at will.

And besides this is Usenet, not a private message board where you can 
ban members who don't abide by the rules.
