I remember listening to that exact show to. I used to listen to the
Art Bell program after 12am. When I was on the Rio Grande waiting on
aliens and their smugglers. Art suddenly got a call from some
unintelligible sounding male. I assumed he was drunk or on drugs.
But Art continued talking to him until the voice said something to the
effect that his gubmint cheese allotment was already two days late.
Suddenly the line went dead and Art said that who ever he had been
talking to had run out of change to continue the call. Then he
immediately went to a webtv commercial. Thinking about it now,
though, I'm beginning to assume the caller may have been Hagar. Huh,
Hags?
