Yes, I was about 12 years old.
And it was on TV every evening
for about two weeks.

People on the ground near the area
saw some of the UFOs searching
for something in the ocean.


I doubt it was really advanced ETs, because they would be able to find
their dropped or broken stuff quickly and zoom off into the cosmos
home.
