I got a copy of UFOs and the National Security State by Richard Dolan
(volume 1) at Half Priced Books the other day.  Very interesting!  The
problem I see is that UFOs largely ignore us and our systems of social
control the way bee keepers go about their business while ignoring the
bees.

So, what's the point?

I'm thinking if UFOs are real, and they represent non-human
intelligence or at least not from the present epoch, I wonder what it
all means.

I can imagine a nano-tech based 'intelligent fog' that permeates the
Earth undetected and recovers detailed intelligence of everything that
happens on Earth real time - and networks back to a collection point -
and into a very complete Earth model - a sort of dvr for a virtual
Earth.

I can also imagine that the same 'smart smoke' can be activated to
actually do stuff, or assemble into stuff the same way the T-1000
robot self assembles - to do whatever is demanded from the same
central command center - or distributed command network.  If I can
imagine it working in theory, a sufficiently advanced intelligence
would find doing it dead simple.

So, why muck about with saucers and whatnot?

Because they - whoever or whatever 'they' are - if they exist -  want
to get our attention.

These are staged interactions carried out for a specific purpose - to
communicate with us.

The messages are meaningless in context of our life process - just as
the bee researcher's message is meaningless in a very real sense -
they are done for the benefit of the controlling intelligence - which
may communicate in ways and at levels we don't recognize (yet).

One series of stories in Dolan's book suggested something like this.

Especially interesting is General LeMay who at one point was dead set
on blowing up the Russians before they got too far advanced in their
development of nuclear capability.  Blow them up on the ground - was
his philosophy instead of waiting for them to attack.  Blow them up
this week preemptively, better today, better this morning,  that sort
of thing.

Then he got UFO reports. Nonsense he said in private communique.  Then
he got better reports.  I need to see evidence he replied.  Then he
got evidence - hard evidence - according to Dolan.  Recovered at
secret military bases where important nuclear assets were being
developed or stored or readied for use.  Assets no one outside the
military was supposed to know about.

At one point LeMay said, WE have a problem - WE have to work with the
Soviets to address this problem for the good of humanity - he saw
Soviet strength as a benefit complementing US strength in a war
against alien invaders.

This is a HUGE change of mental state - wrought by reports and legends
of UFO sightings and recovered objects - If one looks at the sightings
and interactions - they're the MINIMUM interaction necessary to do the
'job' - by job I mean transforming the mental states of the parties
most set at fighting a nuclear war.   Info-war, controlling the
epistemology of your enemy.

What benefit would this be to UFO controllers?

Well, if they were our descendants, it might be of significant benefit
to avoid a nuclear conflagration today.

It would also invoke Novikov's self-consistency principle if it
involved signaling through time.
