Well, ........ the problem there is, some Humans will use those powers

Thanks.
But... the problem with you is: SHIT.
You only see abuses. Seen through your eyes mankind would not have been
allowed to use fire or tools of any kind. Grow up! You are no child
anymore and yes: life means risk.
C.
Yes, C., life means risk. And like everything else, there are
good results and bad results. Risk by stealing, and you
usually wind up living a meager life. Calculate your risks,
and you can wind up wealthy in more ways than one. A lot
of people shy away from math and "calculations".
Fire was very useful. Cooked foods are less prone to make
you sick, or to kill you. Fire enabled nomads to expand to
the North and much colder climes. But as people expanded,
territories began to overlap, and those with fire burned down
the homes of those without. and they called it "patriotism".
The invention of tools (even chimps can do that) can also be
"abused", because the word "tool" goes hand-in-hand with
the word "weapon". Even the lowly ice pick has been used
to murder. And the gun has been used to hunt and be fed.
People can learn from their mistakes ONLY if and when they
realize that they have made a mistake. People seldom do.
And when they DO learn, now THAT is cause to raise a cup.
We have been raised by TV, where such a lesson is always
learned at the end of the show. People, in real life, seldom
if ever reach "the end of the show".
happy days and...
starry starry nights!
