John XXIII, could not be televised.
     A satellite problem, high over Oklahoma, was responible, probably
caused by a UFO
seen in that vicintiy.
     We regret that millions of you are very disappointed. Imagine how
we at CNN feel.
      Instead of getting the real story of the miraculous events
concerning the rescue of the 33 miners, you got a rerun of a
crappy program our producers should have thrown out long ago.
      CNN is working diligently to correct the  problem and hopes to
have our live satellite feed corrected within the next 24-48 hours.
      Unfortunately, I'm totally booked with guests for the next few
weeks but hope to have Pope John back on my show sometime after
Halloween.

broken promises and outright lies ???
Perhaps Al "my loins are on fire" Gore could have filled the time slot
whining about the plight of the Polar Bears and that fucking spotted
owl, which is beginning to make a pest of itself in the Western
States and how groping aspiring masseuses can raise the temperature
and thus cause Global Warming ... ahem, Climate Change ...
