The Estate of late comedian Joey Bishop currently is the high bidder
on the petrified human skull -- discovered between coal veins and
dated at 280 million years -- now being sold on eBay.

"Joey, whom we buried in 2007, was always fascinated with stuff like
this," said a family spokesman. "We're doing this in the memory of
him.

"If we wind up as high bidder, we're going to dig up his coffin and
place the skull right next to his pillow."

There has been some confusion over the Estate's user name on eBay --
BISHOPS -- and a lot of folks, especially atheists, assumed it was a
conglomerate of Holy Men appointed by the Vatican to buy up sacred
objects.

Joseph Bishop (born Joseph Abraham Gottlieb) was a stone-faced stand-
up comedian who was best known and loved as a member of Frank
Sinatra's Rat Pack.

Joey, who was 87 when he went to Heaven, also appeared in a few really
good movies but nobody here at alt.fan.letterman seems able to recall
their exact titles.
