<snip more of Artie pretending to have some power>

You can't shut down these groups.  You have no power over them.

You can't stop me from posting.  You have no power over me.

You can't stop posting nonsense to these groups.  You have no power
over your own behavior.

You are completely powerless.  Learn to live with that powerlessness.
Try a 12 Step program!

Step 1: Step to the edge of the cliff.
Step 2: Take one step forward.
Step 3: (Moot)

So why do I picture him doing the Looney Tunes bit after he steps over
the edge? I know, he's slightly less sane than the duck, and nowhere
near as smart as the hunter. It would be better for all if he were to
get a good running start, in any case. But I supposed his keepers,
while willing to let him embarrass himself on the 'Net, won't let him
go for a hike in the hills.

Probably not (assuming he could recognize hills when he
encountered them). But if he followed my 12(3)-Step Program
it would certainly be a boon for the rest of us.

And FWIW, that's a job I'm happy to leave to others - Keeper
of the Loon. Or maybe it's the Artie/Gary Restraint
Society...
