Time and time again I have seen this happen to ufologist that trust in the television corporations that broadcast the phenomenon. TLC, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel et-al. Hatchet jobs are the norm when sponsors pony up large amounts of money for "entertainment". Many times on Cosmic Connection I have been told to add humor and comedy to our programs. Ufos are not a funny thing and must be taken seriously. To many people of good stature ' Peter Davenport, Kevin Randle, Dr. David Jacobs, Michael Lindemann, Robert Dean, Linda Howe, George Knapp, Stanton Friedman and others have put their reputations on the line to bring to a skeptical public their findings, only to have it trashed in the last 15 minutes of any show as a rebuttal to the previous 45 minutes of broadcast. Thus saying "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". How many skeptics have read a book on the subject? How many so called experts in the starlight in front of a camera on national television or radio programs actually know what they are talking about, you the public will never know.
J. Allen Hynek is just one example of this when swap gas was stated as a cause for a ufo sighting. This sound bite was taken and went viral way before the internet. Discrediting anything Mr. Hynek might have done for the cause of disclosure.
So add 3 more subjects that have been taken by corporate suits. My condolences to Ms. Erin Ryder, Mr. James Fox and Mr. Ben McGee. But they had no business being in your homes every week disseminating film of them looking for ufos on the ground, literally looking on the ground in many shots, what the hell is going on here? And shame on you if it happens again for the sake of fame and fortune. This only happened to Art Bell, He learned how to play the game and did it very well $$$. We were all taken by him and the Great Coast to Coast AM for way to long. Sure their were some good programs but then their were the Heavens Gate Hale Bopp thing that he had no part in, but was labeled as a player. And who could forget the Alien in the freezer Washington state debacle, the pilot that flew into and crashed at Area 51 it goes on folks. Or in my situation on the Cosmic Connection Mr. Roswell, Yes we were taken by him and an hypnotherapist with an abductee on my show.
So I leave you with this thought, read a few books, talk to people that have been there before, and then read a few more books.
